University of Tartu (UT) and UT partner university, Pusan National University (PNU, Republic of Korea) are bringing Korean culture and worldview to Tartu with the Korean Festival held in October 15-20.
There will be both a diverse cultural programme as well as an academic sympiosium. During one week, people can visit a Korean-themed photo exhibiton, watch new Korean films and listen to traditional music performances.
On Saturday, October 20th, an academic symposium "2nd Baltic-Korean International Symposium: Creative Cooperation" will be held. Topics from economy and politics to languange and culture will be discussed.
The symposium celebrates the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Korea.
